Introduction to our Sixth Form

Sixth Form

The Sixth Form is an integral part of our school family. Visible to the entire school community, it is a place where young people aspire to be, and once here, feel proud to be part of. As a school, we live out our mission statement, ‘Glorifying God through outstanding, enjoyable education,’ as much in the Sixth Form as anywhere else. We challenge students to make the most of every opportunity, with a broad curriculum, exceptional teaching from subject specialists and support rooted in Christian values.

The Sixth Form at Saint Cecilia’s has a track record of enviable exam results, alongside strong pastoral care, all within an inclusive and supportive environment. We seek the very best for all young people; regardless of background or ability, everyone is invited to achieve, thrive and flourish in our Sixth Form. This means students leave our Sixth Form prepared to deal confidently with the demands and challenges they will face in the future, whether in higher education, further education or employment.

Students in the Sixth Form receive lots of effective guidance in preparation for life after school. Sixth Form students feel well supported. They develop a range of positive study habits, which helps them to recall and make sense of important subject concepts.
