We are not an exam factory. But we are a strongly academic school, committed to achievement in its broadest sense. Our pupils excel academically, with results and measures of progress and attainment well above national averages. We have been consistent, and do not have spikes, where pupils do well some years and not the next, placing us in the top 10% of schools nationally.

At Saint Cecilia’s, success is about more than just grades. As you’ll see from the stories on this website, we celebrate our whole cohort of children —whether they shine academically, creatively, in sports, or through their contributions to the community.

Progress 8

There are no Progress 8 scores for 2025 because the government has suspended their publication for the 2024/25 and 2025/26 academic years. This is due to the cancellation of Key Stage 2 SATs in 2019-20 and 2020-21 because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
