Refectory
Our main Refectory and new Grab and Go Café (opening November 2025) are both open from 8am each day and serve breakfast, breaktime snacks and hot and cold lunches. Sixth Form students have a separate coffee shop in their common room selling coffees, pastries and light bites.
The Refectory serves hot food and desserts; the Café sells sandwiches, wraps and a ‘grab and go’ range. Food is always cooked fresh each day using locally sourced ingredients where possible. We can cater for the majority of food allergies, intolerances or religious needs. We offer daily vegetarian and vegan options. Fresh fruit and a salad bar are available each day.
A hot meal plus dessert is only £2.65 and our menus rotate every three weeks. See the menu below for a sample of the dishes we serve.
The Refectory and Grab and Go Café are large spaces with plenty of room and, as we split the lunchtime over two sittings, they are never over-crowded, giving pupils time to eat and relax with friends.
Pupils and students are welcome to bring a packed lunch if they prefer which can be eaten in the Refectory, Grab and Go Café or in the playground.
