The Friends of Saint Cecilia’s

Saint Cecilia’s has an active parents’ association, called The Friends of Saint Cecilia’s (registered charity 1111547). The charity raises money to help support the school, runs second hand uniform sales, helps bring the wider community together by organising social events throughout the year and hosts a Facebook group for parents and carers.

Support Our School – Join the Friends of Saint Cecilia’s!

Every year, we fund essential school equipment, trips and resources that enrich pupils’ and students' learning experiences. From providing laptops for children when needed to supporting the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award programme and enhancing music, art and drama departments - we make a real impact.

The Friends of Saint Cecilia’s thrive on parental involvement. Forget outdated stereotypes - whether you're a working parent or not, your support matters! There are plenty of ways to get involved, some requiring very little effort.

How you can help:

  • Attend our events – Simply turning up, enjoying a drink and some food helps support our charity! We host three major fundraising events a year, promoted via the school parent newsletter.

  • Donate or buy second-hand uniform – Looking to donate or purchase uniform? Email our uniform team: uniform.friendsofstcecilias@gmail.com

  • Raise funds while you shop – Choose Friends of Saint Cecilia’s as your cause on EasyFundraising or Amazon Smile - it’s free and effortless!

  • Volunteer at events – Even 30 minutes of your time makes a big difference. Imagine if every parent contributed just half an hour!

  • Get involved in the Friends – All parents/carers can join. Sign up to our mailing list and help shape how funds are spent. As a member you can vote for trustees at our AGM.

  • Make a donation – No time to volunteer? Donations are always welcome! Email our treasurer (treasurer.friendsofstcecilias@gmail.com) for bank details.

Your support, big or small, makes a real impact!
