Visit from Charlie and Dermot

On Friday 26th April we had two very special visitors in school - therapy donkeys Charlie and Dermot. The pupils and sixth formers were pleasantly surprised to see the animals in the sports hall and had a lot of fun feeding, cuddling and stroking the donkeys. As the Resurrection event was unfortunately cancelled, we invited St Michael's Reception classes to visit us in the morning to join the experience.

The donkeys are specially trained to work with children - they can help with anxiety, stress and have an incredible calming presence.
